Originally hailing from Kingston Jamaica Dj 2Mello started following the likes
of sound systems like Stonelove, Afrique and King Jammy's watchin the selecta's and paying attention to how they moved the crowd with the music they spun hoping that he too one day could move a crowd such as the likes of weepow, billy slaughter and the other top dj's.
He left Jamaica in 1989 to migrate to the United States. Once having the ability to purchase his own equipment he started practicing and hoaning his skills to become the selecta he is today. Even though his roots lie deep in the reggae/dancehall genre of music he still rocks the hotest hip hop and r&b music out there for the masses.
